01 / Connection context
Choose the scope before adding instructions
OpenAI describes a chat without a project as suitable for self-contained work. A project groups related chats with shared instructions, uploaded files and connected sources. Project instructions apply across its chats. Use a separate task context when you do not want a resource’s instructions to influence unrelated work.
02 / Connection context
Use the resource’s setup contract
AgentGrid’s recommendation is to begin with the exact published instructions and a small, non-sensitive input. Follow the resource’s platform-specific steps rather than combining several instruction sets. Compare its expected output with the result, then test a case with missing information. A platform guide alone does not establish that a particular package has passed those checks.
03 / Connection context
Keep sources and permissions deliberate
OpenAI notes that a ChatGPT project does not itself provide direct access to a local folder; sources must be uploaded or connected. Before adding material, check who may access it and the permissions of any connected tool. Copying instructions from AgentGrid grants no external account access and does not create a recurring job.
04 / Connection context
Account features and costs
Check the current capabilities and usage limits of your own account before choosing a workflow. AgentGrid does not include a model-provider subscription. If the package requires a tool or feature that is unavailable, stop and choose an alternative rather than assuming a text-only run performed the missing action.
Check before you continue.
- Confirm that the resource names ChatGPT and identifies the distribution format you are using.
- Use a bounded test input, inspect the result and retain the exact package version.
- Review shared project context and tool permissions before adding private material.
AgentGrid does not ask you to paste an API key or connect an account on this page. Any provider access, subscription or usage charge is separate.
